OK folks, I'll be talking to the folks at Turner Bend and see what the details are about possibly reserving "X" number of camping spots, etc, etc. We've got plenty of time to "tune" this thing, so we'll see how it goes. By the way, for those who just don't dig camping, there are motels within 20 miles of the Bend. Timing considerations: late May and early June can be beautiful around here, but for the past two or three years it's been rain, rain, and more rain at that time. In July, the river can be down quite a bit, but you do have better chances of sunny weather. Also, by July the Ozark summer has gotten HOT, so keep that in mind.
